AB  - The decision to participate in infant screening often rests with parents. Medical ethics require that parental decision is elicited from informed choice. Such a decision is influenced by the parental knowledge and attitude towards screening and a careful evaluation of these factors is essential in seeking informed consent for infant hearing screening.
