AB Erythromelalgia is an unusual syndrome of painful vasodilatation. Aetiopathology is probably different in children and adults. Presentation can be severe and associated with hypertension. Dramatic benefit from infused nitroprusside suggests the disorder could represent a dysfunctional endothelium.
