AB  - Two children with bleeding from idiopathic thrombocytopenia with low factor VIII levels are described. The presence of a double haemostatic defect in an otherwise healthy individual presenting with bleeding is extremely rare. In both cases the atypical bleeding raised the suspicion of dual pathology.
