Scabies in a 4-week-old baby boy, a diagnostic challenge

A 28-day-old baby boy presented to the emergency department with a generalised exanthema and irritability. The mother referred a 15-day history of progressive erythematous papules, starting in the lower limbs and extending to the trunk, arms, scalp, face, palms and soles.
