Simple strategies for methicillin resistant Staphlococcus aureus (MRSA) infection

The Archivist is currently working in an environment where there is a high prevalence of methicillin resistant Staphlococcus aureus (MRSA) skin and soft tissue infections. Management of this remains a major challenge to the paediatric and adult antibiotic stewardship world. When we identify this infection what should we do? If we are to target the approaches to prevent these infections, we need to understand the factors predisposing to acquisition.
