The brains of children with developmental coordination disorder

First they were dismissed as ‘clumsy children’, then we called them ‘dyspraxic’, now the preferred terminology is developmental coordination disorder (DCD). We see children with these problems frequently, but are they just one end of a spectrum of normality, or do they have a definable neuropathological condition?
