Six months prior to presentation, a 4-year-old female had suffered a blunt trauma, bumping her left arm against her mother while running and developing swelling along the entire arm to the wrist. One month after the trauma, the swelling had reduced, but skin thickening appeared. Over subsequent days, the mother noticed a change in the forearm skin, which was initially hyperaemic, then hyperpigmented and glossy.
