Tsai et al1 write that Taiwanese adolescents report very similar health needs, concerns and sources of information to young people from the UK, Australia, the USA and Europe. Key health concerns for Taiwanese young people are weight and shape, stress related to school and emotional wellbeing as well as sexual health and substance use. Parents were the primary source of health information, alongside teachers, peers and the mass media.1
