In the paper of Dunger et al. "ESPE/LWPES consensus statement on diabetic ketoacidosis in children and adolescents"[1] is a discrepancy: on p 188, the authors write "DKA is caused by a decrease in effective circulating insulin ... " and therefore "insulin therapy is essential ... ." (p 190).
However, on p 188, they write on "euglycaemic ketoacidosis with near normal glucose values". If "a d...
