My mother died on September 11, 2006 and I am just getting the autopsy report. I am just trying to find out the normal weight of a female lung if there is no congestion or disease when you die. My mom's right lung had edema and congestion and it weighed 580gm, and her left lung was 390 gm. I am wondering what is the normal weight.
