Long COVID-19 has been a hot topic in recent phases of the pandemic. Findings regarding the risk of long COVID-19 in children have been varying.1 2 First reports of children having long COVID-19 symptoms were published in fall 2020.3 International classification of diseases version 10 ICD-10 diagnostic code for long COVID-19 was introduced and adapted to electronic healthcare software in December 2020 in Finland. Currently, nationwide estimate of diagnosed long COVID-19 cases is lacking, and therefore, the aim of this letter is to describe the rates of diagnosed long COVID-19 cases in Finnish children.
