This is a great paper and you must read it! Archivist has always been interested in the interaction between the psychological and the physical when managing patients. Justin Coogle et al (Pediatric Neurology 2021;125:20–5) begin their paper stating that the treatment of functional neurological disorder (FND), previously referred to as conversion disorder, can be challenging. Most general paediatricians, paediatric neurologists and child psychiatrists will have been challenged by such cases and rely heavily on a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to help their patients.
