Quality improvement and evidence-based medicine. Fight, flight or fuddle?
Now the fashionable flurry of activity around quality improvement (QI) reports1 in the journal recently, getting across the key messages about how a QI project was undertaken, might have you thinking that the evidence-based medicine (EBM) section has three choices: fight them, fly from them, or get around a table with shared food and discuss how things can be better.i
