      A Still murmur is a systolic murmur often noted in children ages 2 to 6 years; however, it has been described in infants and adolescents.47 The cause is debated but thought to be related to vibration of chordae, relative narrowing of the outflow tracts during systole, or semilunar valve leaflet vibration.47,48,50–53 A Still murmur is vibratory, low frequency, and systolic, loudest at the left lower sternal border and apex.
