Education and Practice edition
ADC Education in Practice Edition aims to assist paediatricians at all levels in their ongoing professional development. The edition is currently published quarterly - moving to bimonthly in 2007.
The edition includes:
- Best practice
- Problem solving in clinical practice
- Pharmacy update
- Guideline review
- Illuminations (radiology reports with online enhancements)
- Extracts from Evidence-based Medicine

The material is accredited for CPD by the RCPCH, but the edition should have international appeal. UK paediatricians can gain up to 20 CPD points per year by reflective notes on articles in any edition of ADC.
Paediatricians may claim points by submitting copies of worked reflective notes - for example, brief descriptions of problems posed by clinical cases, to prove that the journal has not only been read but understood and lessons learnt.
Articles for Education and Practice are commissioned by the Editors. They should be submitted to Bench>Press from the parent ADC website.
