We would like to highlight the importance of screening for chlamydia (CT) and gonorrhoea (GC) with a urine nucleic acid amplification testing (NAAT) in all symptomatic and asymptomatic children alleging child sexual abuse (CSA), in contrast to the recommendation made by Reading et al1 who advise only screening symptomatic children.
