Although you may read the title and think, “Yet another book about obesity”, this book represents an important transition in obesity prevention and research. While it focuses on obesity in all age groups, I believe the book presents two overarching themes that are applicable to children and adolescents. The first is that the obesity epidemic cannot be tackled solely by focusing on the individual.
